Co-founders Ken and Teri Ussery have lived the challenges of death, divorce, step-parenting, and parenting prodigals. Their desire is to use their experience, knowledge, skills and education in a ministry to offer a new perspective for divorce, remarriage, and blending families.

 Ken’s credentials include a Bachelors degree in Accounting, seminary training, a Masters degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling, and 30+ years of ministry experience and Pastoral Counseling.

Teri’s credentials include a Bachelors degree in Education, a Masters  in Theology, along with many years in the ministry and thirty+ years as a stay-at-home mom. 

Ken and Teri are gifted writers, speakers and musicians. They are both certified Life Coaches and Level I certified trainers for Leading from Your Strengths, a personality strengths assessment for marriages, families, and leadership teams.

The Ussery's have a passion for communicating spiritual encouragement through the Word of God with the vision and mission of equipping and empowering subsequent marriages, blending and single parent families to create an environment where every member of the family can thrive.

LoriBeth Brown, LPC , Blending Family Counselor

LoriBeth is beginning her 3rd year as a part of the Family [re]Design team. Along with a Bachelors in Psychology, a Masters in Counseling, and a deep passion for helping blending families, she brings real-life experience growing up in and marrying into a blending family. Her professional experience includes working with children and teens, as well as individuals, couples, and families.

Through her personal trials, she is uniquely equipped to help others.
